As a new Worldgoods Fair Trade Ambassador, I am hosting a Fair Trade Fiesta to raise awareness about poverty and living conditions for many talented artisans and rural farmers. Miranda, Worldgoods owner has taught in Africa, and you'll be able to browse unique hand crafted items from the artisans in several poor countries, where Fair Trade is changing lives for the better (read more below!). Together, we can make a difference.

More!

The government of Kenya offers no aid or welfare for the disabled. Bombolulu is an organization that has been operating for several years, trying to change the situation.

Working particularly with the handicapped, they provide the training and the equipment for several hundred individuals to work on craft production. These crafts are sold around the world and the money goes back to provide salaries for the workers. For the first time in their lives, they are self-sufficient.

Worldgoods is proud to be a part of this work by selling their crafts and helping to create a wider market for this organization. Learn more about Bombolulu and many other artisans by visiting our website and attending the Fiesta!
