Evanston, IL Native Joins Worldgoods Team
Recently, Worldgoods welcomed yet another Ambassador to the team of advocates helping to market and sell Fair Trade products on behalf of our artisan partner groups. Sarah Martin has joined a team of diverse people who have already supported our cause with a resounding, "Yes!"Sarah grew up in Evanston, IL (just north of Chicago) and graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 2002 with an economics degree. She has worked as a commercial credit analyst at Ravenswood Bank ever since and joined the ND Club of Chicago service committee in 2004.
Now a member of her alumni club board, Sarah is coordinating 100 service events throughout 2008 to engage more volunteers and non-profit organizations.
Sarah hopes to improve the economic condition of women and communities throughout the world and minimize our environmental footprint within a fair trade context of compassion and justice through her new position as a Worldgoods Ambassador.
